Alas, by the time I finished struggling with my carry-on bag for my camera, the wing of the plane was in the way of the wildfire in Northern California, and we passed over. I consoled myself with this magnificent pic of the sunset.HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KEDJ!!!!!

Even without fires, the Southern California sunsets are very spectacular. Kedj sewed her finger today.
If you put a straight-edge to that picture you can see the curvature of the earth. Cool.
