A Change of Pace

I don't always knit, eat, drive girls to the barn or work on an on-line bead web site. Sometimes I crochet too.

What are you going to make?

I've tried to learn to crochet, but, alas, all my efforts turn into knots, knots and more knots. The pattern you are using is very pretty. Guess it's another way to use up scraps.

I think I finally figured out who you are, Kedges sister right? I am Mary's sister. I have a blog too.

This will probably be an afghan or baby blanket. Carine said she wanted a baby blanket made with it...in time!

Yes, I'm Kedj's sister. I've been enjoying your blog for some time. Keep us posted here in BC; we don't often hear news from your neck of the woods.

Oh I like that so so much. I want to put in an order too. It looks like the kind of blanket that could become a childs comfort blanky. The pattern is so pretty.

knitting is better than crocheting

That is such a pretty blanket! I love it! - is it something a beginner could do?... :)

Absolutely! Can you single crochet? Can you double crochet? Can you half-double crochet? And lastly, can you count to nine? Then you can do it. I'll send you the pattern--or will you be here for the Sunday School Treat? Or all-day-meeting?

Yeah, I'll be up there this weekend - I think I can do all of the above, not sure about counting to 9 but maybe you can teach me that one. :) Sounds like fun!
